Can't you buy another ethernet port ? I know how you feel . One of my first CFW PS3's has a broken ehthernet port ....it sucks

I wish i could but then i have to open ps3 and take off broken ethernet port which is connected to motherboard and it needs soldier gun which i never used before and worst part the day i changed my ps3 to dex it broke and ethernet port is required for target manger to work
