I've got a ps3 on 3.55 OFW and was wondering if the following is possible
1.If you update to 4.53 cfw is it possible to get back down to 3.55 cfw or 3.55 ofw or any other fw?
2. Is there anyway to play games you have copied to the harddrive of the ps3 online?

Once updating to 4.XX CFW you can always go back to 3.55.
And yes you can play backups online but there is a high chance of getting banned when using backups online
