Post: E3 Flasher failing to get dumps! (2nd blue led flashing) HELP!
01-28-2014, 06:15 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I have the E3 Flasher installed and got the update to go through and now I can't get past the first dump because my 2nd blue led just keeps flashing a few seconds after pressing start. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I believe you get that error because of your SD card. Make sure its formatted with FAT32. Also make sure the clip is on well.

I am almost 100% sure the clip is on properly. I've reseated it twice. And yeah I was thinking that was the problem but I know it's formatted to FAT32 I don't see what else it could be

If SD card is in properly only problem I can imagine is the clip or the 000000 is not correct or a fake e3 flasher.

I actually got the update and dumps to pass but when I put the e3_downgrade.bin on the sd card and put the last switch up with all others down and turned on my PS3 I have a black screen and if I try to turn off the system it does nothing

you dont have to use e3_downgrade.bin :/
aslong you got a valid backup and the system stays on
you are ok

Oh okay I didn't know that.. Now I am stuck with a black screen, no HDD activity, and no USB activity. Any idea how to fix this? And it is possible that I used BAD dumps.

Well true the original error of 01000000 is because the Sd card is no seated properly. Also, you might wanna make sure the e3 flasher is on its metal case properly. The metal case should of cam with the e3 flasher. Also, make sure the clip is on the chip properly and that you have applied a lot of pressure.

Don't worry about the "black screen, no HDD activity, and no USB activity" Just remove the clip and see if it boots up properly
If not make sure to get a valid dump bro with no errors and when you reflash it, it should come up back to normal.
