(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so my harddrive recently had to be formatted on my ps3 running 4.46 rebug in dex mode. then when i turned it on it asked for a firmware above 2.16, nothing working untill i clued in that because i was in dex mode it was waiting for a dex firmware. so i installed 3.55 dex and when to the bathroom, when i came back the ps3 was on and the tv was blank. there was no out put through hdmi or rca(red white yellow) nor is it out putting sound. leading me to belive something has went wrong with the install. ive tried service mode and when iturn it on and hold it beeps, then beeps again, then beeps twice then beeps to shut off. when i press again it does the exact same thing. letting of on the two consecutive beeps does nothing. andone have any idea what has happend/how to fix it?

IT DOESNT BEEP LIKE A CEX TO DEX BRICK DOES. NOR DOES IT SHUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY.
also i tried using the unbrick method to no avail

im guessing due to the amount of people not commenting, that its not fixable

install the firmware by putting Lv2diag.self and the PS3UPDAT.PUP on the root of a FAT32 formatted USB. Put the USB in the right most port and turn on PS3 and wait. After about 5 minutes the ps3 will shut off. Then use the other Lv2diag.self to exit FSM.

If the install fails the green led will flash for a very long time. It also flashes right before the install is finished, so don't prematurely stop it. But if it flashes for 5 minutes, shut it off. Then post the contents of the UPDATER.LOG file that was created on the USB.
