Hey Elmo, So Seeing the problem. You needed to change the kernal and re flash the cex.bin but sadly your friend didn't do so. thus the brick now buying a E3 dongle you also need to get a E3 Flasher to flash the downgrade and fix the brick. it's alot of money required but sadly im sorry.
