I know it obviously doesn't list what firmware the console is on but I was just wondering. I've seen some PS3s on Amazon that say (December xx 2010), (when 3.55 ofw was out). Does that mean that they will have the 3.55 update on them or do they regularly update them and have them on the lastest firmware regardless of the date they were released? Or are there any bundles that have PS3s on 3.55?

I wouldn't risk buying it from Amazon as it is a potential risk it could be updated. Just buy it off Ebay or Craiglist to be in the safe side :p.

I have a 3.55 ofw with or without an e3 flasher for sale the only thing wrong with it is it has a bad laser
