Well it's a phat model first of all :p and second did you take it apart and forget to re apply thermal paste?

you dont need thermal paste necessarily. but yes the problem is you are not getting good enough contact with the heat sink. make sure the heat sink is clear of debris. also make sure you screwed the 2 pressure plates back onto the metal frame, this is what maintans pressure to the heat sink. if this does not work, then yes, you will most likely need to get thermal paste, apply it to the heat sink and repeat the process i just gave you.

Keep in mind that you need to screw everything back on tight. When i installed the E3 flasher and i didn't screwed it all fully back in the fan went crazy...
