Post: CD's to hold games? Theory/Question

So you guys know how you can use CD's (blank disks) as storage devices?
Well wouldn't you be able to install a game and put the directory onto that like you would on a USB/Ext HDD, and put that in the disk drive and use it as if it were a disk basically?

You mean copy a Game to an empty Disc like you Would a usb? . IDK. Obviously would only Work on CFW, But sounds like a Nice idea

Most CDs don't hold enough storage because most of them only hold about 8mb so you would need to use a DVD disc instead. I use this method to sell copies of games to my buddies at school.

I don't think it would work as they are blu-rays? I don't know of any disk that contains enough space to hold a full on PS3 game.

Well I own blank DVD's that are 4.7GB each.
