Post: Ps3 shuts down after 15 sec

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was using e3 flasher, got my dump, verified with BwE, everything looked good and use Ps3 Nor Dump Patcher to patch it and flashed it back to the Ps3 with all switches down. Reassembled Ps3 and put in my FSM dongle watched light go blue then red then power off, I look down and noticed HDD was not in when i did this so i put HDD in and did it again. I put in Lv2.self with ps3updat.pup and after 10-15 sec console powers down, you can hear the fans kick up for the first 3 seconds then slow down. I went back and double checked my dump with BwE and it said it was Byte reversed dont know if that was an issue. I sent dump to my buddy he said everything looked good and sent me a patched No FSM dump to flash back. I soldered tristate to SBE and got console to stay on with switch 1 up and successfully flashed it, took everything out and still shut off after 15 sec. I tried flashing back original unpatched dump and still shut off after 15 sec. Console worked fine before and only thing wrong with it didnt have a working blu ray drive.

I doubt as well that the blu-ray is not issue.

You should be more careful when doing stuff like this bro. I bet you were in a hurry and wanted to finish up quickly!
Sorry, for giving you the little lecture but shit like this happens when you don't take your time

I'm guessing your stuck on FSM see if you can put exit FSM with LV2diag: You must login or register to view this content.
Have tried to enter recovery mode?
Or is it semi-bricked?

or

Try reflashing the first patch dump/bkpps3.bin and leave the tristate solder.
while still having the tristate solder see if you can get the ps3 to install the lv2.diag with ps3updat.pup
or try to get into FSM again after reflashing and then install the lv2.diag with ps3updat.pup

I'm thinking the issue is with entering FSM. Cause once you did the FSM dongle all went to hell and not including the missing HDD.

Fuck bro good luck with this one

I tried to exit FSM with Lv2diag and still no luck, i tried entering recovery mode and still nothing, on a side not when i put in FSM dongle and do power eject the light stays red on dongle and the console will stay on for a good couple minutes then shut off but still displaying nothing on the Tv.

I tried other thing you mentioned re-soldered tristate and flashed my original patched backup, put in fsm dongle and power/eject, no lights on dongle so i cut the wire and removed e3 flasher, inserted hdd, power/eject with dongle in got red light then blue light power off, i put lv2.diag with ps3updat.pup on usb and powered on then shut off after 15 seconds i dont know what i could be doing wrong i have unbricked ps3 before but not like this

I dont think it is the PSU either!!!

Another thing bro are the file named properly on the usb?
use these lv2.diag
1) use this one with ps3updat.pup: You must login or register to view this content.
2) use this one to exit: You must login or register to view this content.

Also are you putting the usb on the right-side port?
Is the usb port on the right-side working?

yes files are named properly and they are in the right usb port it must be working because i see usb light up and stays on long enough for me to get into fsm with dongle
