Anyone know how to fix this?

I turn it on I just get a red screen in foreign languages.

The last thing I did was download an update turn it off.

The next day I turn it on and I can't get past the red screen.

I've been told that if I hold the power button for 5 seconds until I hear 3 beeps it will take me to system restore options. I've done this but nothing worked. I still get the red screen when I turn it on.

If there is anything I can do to fix this please help. I don't want to send this in I'd rather figure a way to fix it myself.

I've been told this issue is with nand flash? If you know anything about this please let me know.


The message I get is similar to this guys, except I can't get pass the red screen like he can and it's not a component issue.

It's a three step process, simple! Even for you, *shudders*:

Step 1: Get Hammer.

Step 2: Smash console.

Step 3: Smash left hand until you see crimson (screen colour for reference) and bone; for good measure.
