Update, now every time I try to shut it down I have to hold the power button until it cuts it off. This resulting in my PS3 not powering off and on correctly. (It searches for damaged HDD every time I turn on but I cancel it).

Please, I'm in need of help.

Oh wow, uhm try reinstalling your firmware? This might be a problem
