Make sure the memory card is in correctly.

Make sure the clip is sat flush with the motherboard.
You might need to file a little bit off the clip edges otherwise it might catch the capacitors and resistors around the nor chip...

still nothing i used a filer i never have had this problem before and i also went and bought a brand new micro sd card and it still does not work

cut or shave the edges a lil bit had the same prob i fix it after doing that the capacitors and resistors around the chip is the problem now my nor clip will fit perfectly on any downgradable ps3s

make sure the bkpps3 files is named properly!!!

it need to read bkpps3.bin

okay so i got past that but know the lights 1 5 6 7 8 are coming on and my ps3 shuts off after like 3 seconds its error 10001111
please help me get it back on im done with trying to mod it

you semi bricked the ps3 you will need a copper wire to touch the nor tristate and GND point at the same time, at this point try to turn on the ps3. If the ps3 stays on, then just continue with the flashing process. I need your ps3 model number or motherboard to help you locate the nor tristate and GND. You don't need to solder!!!!!
Also, 1 5 6 7 8 is caused by clip not making good contact with the chip

So if you don't need to solder the copper wire to touch nor tristate and GND point at the same time what do you do then exactly if you don't mind me asking thanks.

Either tape down the wire at their points.
or
Use your 2 hands to touch each point and use your nose to push the power button.
Once, the ps3 powers on and remains on remove the wire and continue to where you left off
