(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Yesterday I downgraded and jailbroke my PS3 will no problems. Now im trying to downgrade my friends PS3 and it keeps giving me bad dumps. I have no clue what the issue is, hoping someone knows how to fix this. Ive checked the E3 clip its on all the way with pressure on it.
I updated my E3 Flasher with the Samsung update too so I could use it one more than one PS3.

Heres what NorInspector said:
First 0x10 Bytes are not 00s, bad Dump?
Region at: 0x00000000 is broken -> bad data (not 00s)
Region at: 0x00000000 is broken -> no 0xFACE0FF magic
[!] Region at: 0x00000000 is unknown type (no BEEF/FACE) -> "0xFFFFFFFF"
No Flash Format detected.
No Area 0xdeadface found.

Yeah i had the same problem in nor inspector lots of red text errors but the e3 log file said all ok.

Fixed it but washing the nor clip & chip with some isopropyl alcohol.

Some mother boards have a small chip that gets in the way when you try to seat the e3 clip, you have to file the side of the clip to get it to fit properly.

Get a torch & look close to see if you can see any gap between mobo & clip,should be no gap all the way round

Also make sure the flasher is not touching the mobo as this sometimes causes bad dumps

My setup You must login or register to view this content.

See the small chip bottom left of nor chip gets in the way of e3 clip. Most slim mobos have one that gets in the way different positions dependent of mobo model

Thanks for the help, ima check the clip and use something else to hold it down. Your setup is like how I had my friends and I think you have the same model as he does. His ps3 was also having problems taking the 4.55 OFW after an HDD upgrade but I fixed that issue
