I know this sounds kinda stupid, but why is a 4.55 DEX CFW taking so fucking long to make or release atleast? I know everything is possible to do on 4.50 DEX like 4.55, but I just feel the need to have the newest thing, kinda like the newest phone etc.. Rebug already finished making their 4.53 cfw, but they don't wanna release it until they finish their 4.55 one. 4.55 DEX OFW has been leaked for months now, yet no one managed to make a cfw out of it yet? If someone can share an explanation that would be nice
Making a CFW from scratch or even made with help with some tools isn't that easy, trust me. Every little things the cfw devs add, remove & tweak/modify or manually patched has to be thoroughly tested everytime before for the final modified good FW build. Sony adds & changes quite a number of things in new firmware +4.xx builds. And figuring out & patching what/where is what ye also takes time, days nonestop hours sometimes, researching, and basically a lot effort spent to make final build good & stable...
I myself finally honesty understand the headache & effort that Rebug Team go thru, as its personally taken me many hours weeks after number of bricks + unstable builds to eventually & successfully add just 1 thing, a RSOD bypass/patch to a modified DEX firmware i've been working on.
So yeah, also i'm pretty sure that Rebug Team have lives, jobs & only spend a few hours a day on their upcoming 4.55 rex, d-rex & lite version maybe (depending how many their members spend time on if each build)
