I have a broken ps3 but i have its CEX and DEX dumps. Stated above, it's a NAND console. The get cID tool does not work. I'm not good at looking through hex editor and trying to find the offset. I'm not going to upload my back ups for the obvious reasons. If somebody can please help me finally, that would be awesome.

Use/try sinsizer's "PS3 NOR/NAND Statistic Beta" app -> You must login or register to view this content.

Just drag & drop your flash dump the square box were it says "drag&drop here" & after right section were it says 'IDPS:' that's your ps3's console ID. You can also extract/save it with the 'Save' button.

1.) Get HxD editor.
2.) Open the cex flash dump in HxD editor
3.) Click search then Goto...
4.) Type 81BD0 then click OK
5.) That whole line from left to right is your consoleid.

I did that and when I type it into console manager and then go to sign in it gives me a error

I tired this also and it said invalid file type or something like that.
