Now I'm wondering if there's a free way to downgrade the PS3. I played last the 1st May, so haven't updated since then.

If there's no free way, I'd like to know two things:

What's the cheapest downgrade (E3 flasher etc, haven't read to much about this so my knowledge is bad)
Easiest downgrade method
