The only problem is, is that i am on Rebug 4.46.1 DRex which cannot get on the store, bcuz you must be on atleast 4.50 to access the store. So i thought to myself that i would just go to CFW 4.50Ita. So i looked up the tutorial on how to go from Rebug FW to Ita FW. i found that i need to downgrade to a 3.55 DEX then update. so i uninstalled all spoofers and got the 3.55 FW. well i am having a problem. i cannot install any CFW over this FW. i have not had this problem before but this time nothing works. I have tried installing many different Firmwares, i even tried switching over to CEX with my Norbins and i still cant installed any CFW. i just want to change CFW, but no matter what CFW i try to install i get error codes. Most of the error codes that it is giving me, i cant find anything about. the last error code was 8002F827 which isnt even a valid code. Is there anything i can do ti get off of Rebug 4,46? i looked p this problem and others have had it too, but i can find a working solution. Is there anything i can do, or am i stuck on 4.46 for good?

i did a full reformat earlier today and just tried it again. i am getting the error code: 8002F827. canr find anything about this except that the ps3 cannot change firmware version properly. any other suggestions?

did you try to install your firmware again? also if you have some stuff like ccapi install try uninstalling it.

Yea i tried installing all the firmwares again too. I'll try uninstalling some pkg and game patches and see what happens

After installing the dex downgrader, which is basically an 3.55 dex ofw, you need to install a dex cfw 3.55. Look up for bozar 3.55 dex cfw and install it over the dex ofw. Don't forget to set "update debug on" in the debug setting. Should help. So short story : recovery ➡dex ofw update ➡bozar dex cfw 3.55 via xmb update ➡ then update any dex you want.
I read earlier that you switched dex to cex. Hope you did switched back to dex.

One last thing would help maybe. Do you have a esata station? Format your hdd on your laptop. Make it to an external hard drive. After your laptop can access it after the formatting and Windows converting, put it back in the ps3 and let the console format it back. Then you should be able to install any dex pup higher than 3.20.

I dont know what happened but i woke up this morning, was looking for solutions and said im just gonna try one more time. So i put 4.50 ita on my usb, and all of a sudden, the error went away and the ps3 started doing the update! I dont know what i did but it works and I'm soo happy right now! Thanks for helping everyone that responded!
