Does anyone know whether there is any way to downgrade? (Obvious... But, if you know can you reply how to do the method/link to do the method?) Make sure you don't have a disk in the game tray. It will update the ps3 to ofw 4.55 if there is.
If you are going to rogero, I suggest NOT doing so. It's a pain in the balls to get off when you decide to(and you will want to sooner or later)

you seem like you are a bit of a noob i would look into dex firmwares and get someone to help you before/while converting
