If you've got the money i would suggest & recommend something like a professional temperature controlled BGA rework station.
Or the cheap +risky alternative is a heat gun (paint stripper heat gun). As cos most hairdryers don't get hot enough.

Hmm or a temperature LED controlled heat gun, so you don't overheat burn or yeah accidentally melt the solder balls bellow the plate.

By the way, If i'm not mistaken. Heatspreader, is that the IHS plate? ->You must login or register to view this content.
Edit: Ha silly me ye i forgot IHS is short for Integrated Heat Spreader :derpina:

Hmm i see, well i'm sorry i personally don't have experience that involves removing the IHS plates, lol. Yeah same i've seen some of those youtube videos too, but no experience or tips to share unfortunately. Sorry =Z
But be carefull though man, not to damage the CPU chip oh & yourself.. knife, don't cut off a finger now Woot

Maybe someone else reading this (YOU?) that has experienced and knowledge +May be kind enough & advise/share their input or give some tips, and yeah basically post here/help?? tears
:p comeon someone help KAOS out, he's a nice guy that contributes & helps others out.. He deserves some help.
