That was also my question once until someone answer the question for me. The person basically told me yes and no. The yes part of the answer was that you have to either get a new CID and set it permanently through ITA manager. The no part of the answer was since the original CID is from a CEX PS3 (Target ID=84) it won't work unless you restore it through ITA manager or Rebug Toolbox every you boot a DEX PS3 (Target ID=82)

You can do it on ITA 4.55???

Thats what I read.. there is a pkg that enables you to do that (CFW setup v2)..

Yes there is a way. Go to Debug Settings and Set "Boot Mode" to Release Mode. You probably had it set to System Software Mode. Unfortunately, if you set it to Release Mode, you will not be able to attach any of your games with TMAPI to RTM.
