So i installed 3.55 ofw dex so i could do a format/ Clean my ps3
now its says when trying to install any other Cfw it now says no applicable update was found
does anybody no how to fix this ? i tried installing from recovery menu no luck.
i have looked every were on the internet couldn't find anyone with the same problem
i no its the wrong section but i dont get much help in the questions section.

Why did you when back down to 3.55 to format your ps3? you could of done it in whatever CFW you were before.
Make sure that you are installing a DEX CFW and not a CEX CFW. You can install any Rebug D-REX CFW. Which are
4.30 to 4.46 rebug and For ita you can install 4.21 to 4.55 (I recommend ITA 4.50 because most of the people use that
and I nor my friends ever had a problem with it.

Because you cant format in dex only in debug settings and i did not no that in till just.
I have installed dex downgraders / dex 3.55 / 4.50ita / dex ofw again no luck
no disc in drive and i am doing everything properly

Do you recommend using ps3ita 4.50 dex v2.2. Are there any problems with target manager and psnpatch?

Your pretty much fucked on ofw dex sorry to say as you can't get in contact with homebrew so the only thing you can do is install via internet or download 4.60 ofw dex which hasn't came out yet sorry but you just lost your cfw if you were just on cex to get back on cfw dam that sucks

Lol I am just tooling with you just download 3.55 rogero dex make sure you have it named ps3updat.pup all caps install through recovery or try a 999 downgrade then open up toggle qa do the button combinations and then in 3.55 rogero dex then rebug 3.55 Drex and swap back to cex or update to any dex cfw you want hope I helped I just noticed you said problem solved

What does your usb got to do with updating your console

i come from 4.50ita then i did a dex downdrader then to drex 4.46 tried to convert back to cex without my original flash
then i went to dex ofw some were along them lines it corrupted my 2 usb's so i formatted them both and that fixed the problem i couldn't believe it happened my self but that's the fix if anybody else gets the same problem leave me a quote.
