My jailbroken ps3 light blinks green and yellow a few minutes after I turn it on. I asked around and people told me it's a software brick. I tried to downgrade it and it doesn't let me so I guess it is. Any idea how to fix this? Also, is this a problem for my ps3? Like I play on it without problems but I wanted to know if the software brick would cause problems for the ps3. If not I'll just leave it the way it is without fixing.

Sounds like a yellow light of death (YLOD) so i'd buy some thermal paste and add it onto the cpu and rsx.

Okay, im having the same model that ylods, i changed the thermal,paste and it got fixed
