Do you have the CEX flash too? And if so did you place both files in the root of the USB?

make sure you have the exact extensions, only way to know that go to Folder Options > uncheck Hide extensions checkbox and rename the file properly.

thanks for trying to help i did have flash dex and flashcex eid0.nandbin on usb stick just rebug toolbox wouldnt rewrite target might have been a sign ps3 was on way out went to boot it back up earlier and glod so i kinda given up onb this ps3

From what you said about getting the GLOD and it not accepting the rewriting of the flash, that means the flash dump (possibly both) was bad. This actually happened to me the other day and it caused GLOD, only fix was re-flashing a good dump. If anything you should consider yourself lucky as it's more like a soft-brick and can easily fixed with a flasher.
