It looks like you are doing all this with an original disk or the backup is on read only media. Either boot the game normally or make a backup first (copy) so you use those options. The options need to write to a file in the same folder as the game and if it can not write to the disc it can not save the options so the options are not available.

I have tried to copy the game to internal hdd0. It doesn't get but like 10 seconds in and it aborts.

You can patch the games to 4.46 with PSN Patch. Run it, press L2, left, down, start. When done press start and exit (circle I think) if it doesn't exit on its own. It may do a soft reset, that is normal.

After it patches the games it will list the games it patched.

You will/do not need to use a backup manager to load original games. This is what was confusing people trying to answer I think. PSN Patch will patch the installed part of the game. It works for PSN games too.

I just did what you said and like you said it did restart. So can I play games now?

i've tried everything you've suggested, literally.. and i still get a black screen when i try to play a game. .. games i've tried - GTAV - Lego(Hobbit) - Spiderman2.

i'm on 4.50 MFW. like i said, i've used both ITA Manager method and multiMAN method.
