For DEX I would suggest: 4.50 ita

For CEX: 4.50 rogero? idk about cex firmwares.

But basically if you want to go DEX you'll need to flash your console You must login or register to view this content.

and, as for your other question

You'll need to put it on your usb. *usb*/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP
and if you're going to a cex firmware, you can just update straight off the xmb. Hope this helps ^_^

Yes you should be able too. I'm not really a know it all with rogero because I hate their cfw but if it's sort of like rebug you HAVE to qa flag or downgrading will be a pain in the butt

QA flag? do i need that to be able to RTM on CEX, or even get online. Wow im realizing DEX is alot easier

if you want only to use rogero 4.50 cex then you can..eject any disc..

I use to be on DEX 4.50ita, but i bricked my ps3. I just dont feel like going through the whole process of switching from CEX to DEX...
