You can find HomeBrew applications on various sites. I suggest getting them from here - You must login or register to view this content.. From here you can download multiple HomeBrew Applications and install them via pkg installation processing.

As far as not getting banned, just make sure you have a private Console ID, and on games like Black Ops 2, Ghosts, GTA V, etc; make sure you have some means of Anti-Ban such as Anti-Ban EBOOTS, Tools, and stuff to that sort.

As far as Control Console API works, you just install the .exe to your computer and install the pkg to your PS3 System, then you will be ready to RealTimeMod games using Control Console, simple as that.

It's all a matter of playing smart. Don't try and hurry online and be reckless. Start out slow, learn everything you need to know about the Custom Firmware and how banning works. After that, you should be fine. NEVER Share your Console ID. No matter who it is, that's a must.
