alright guys so i have had my jb ps3 for a bout 2-3 months now, it came with some crap firmware he shop had put on there and i put rogero 4.55 on there. So here is the problem. i had been modding fine using ccapi 2.50 for a little while when all of a sudden, ccapi would just not connect to the ps3. I tried everything from resetting the modem and changing my connection setup to reinstalling the firmware again. So recently i switched to dex, I am now on 4.46 rebug d-rex. i switched because i thought maybe not using ccapi and using prodg target manager would solve it but im having the exact same problem. When i search for the ip it wont find it, and when i add it as a target it doesnt work. Ive looked up solutions and ive changed my debug settings to how everyone suggested but still nothing. Please help me out?
Let's start with the basic things.
"Debug settings" settings:
release mode has to be in dev mode.
Boot mode has to be in system software mode.
np environment has to be np
------
If those are correct and it still doesn't work.
Load toolbox(make sure you have the latest one) then go to where you need 'system mode'. It should say normal or rebug.
Now look below that, you should see dex for the middle one(i think) and below that it should say debug qa(or close to that)
if that doesn't work.
Go to release mode, change it to release mode -> restart ps3 -> release mode: dev mode -> reset ps3 (again) || try and connect now. Also DEX needs you to have wired internet.
