(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I have got a fat ps3 that is jailbroken, but it recently got YLOD, so i am sending it away to get it fixed, but i have had this fat ps3 for a while, I used to know pretty much a lot about jailbreaks and cfw but my ps3 has been jailbroken for quite some time now and i have not been keeping up with what has came out cfw wise. So i am nowhere near up to date on the jailbreak/cfw front. Since i have got YLOD on my ps3 and i am sending it away to get it fixed, i have borrowed my dad's ps3 which he hasnt played on in a few years. It is a slim ps3 CECH-2006A. I thought to myself since he hadn't played on it for a few years, he wouldn't have updated it in that time that he hadn't used it. I was hoping for a lower firmware, but it is on 4.25. So i was hoping i could jailbreak it and just use that whilst my ps3 gets fixed, but i am not sure where to look, and i thought this would be the best place to ask, i dont want to be opening it up and installing things inside like a e3 flasher as it is not my ps3 and i woudn't want to try anything incase i messed it up or couldnt put it back together. So i was wondering if there was any cfw that i could install from any ofw inbetween 4.25 and 4.60, i know from 4.50 and 4.60 i doubt theres anything , but i was hoping maybe like 4.25, 4.30, 4.40? Anything inbetween that, that has a cfw which can be installed from ofw? I am hoping there is and i hope someone can help me.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... But until this day you HAVE to downgrade to 3.55 to jailbreak.. The rest are all fake and most likely will brick your playstation.. Hope this helps

Haven't heard of that.. that wouldn't be good, due to all of the "little" kids then getting jailbreaks and flooding PSN with "wittle hackers" XD
