Post: Service Question

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, I found a new guy on Ebay doing PS3 flashing. Since you guys obviously know more
about this stuff than I do, I thought I'd link you to his service and see if you guys could
tell me if you think it would be alright to do business with him. My only concern is that
he's being so generous as to do a pay what you want $0.99 or more + shipping, and
that he only has 14 feedback. It's all 100%, but only 4 or 5 are from him selling this
service, and I've been told it's really easy to get fake positive feedback on Ebay.

That's the guys shop. Would really appreciate you guys taking a look and telling me
if you think it would be alright. Would be great if so cause I'm in between jobs now
and this guy doing it so cheap would really help me out.

It could be legit, though seeing he has hardly any feedback I doubt it. If it is legit I'd imagine the seller will most definitely steal your CID and sell it.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about. Turns out I can't use him anyway. All he claims
to do is NOR flashes. My fat PS3 is a CECHG which apparently has to be jailbroken with
progskeet. So even if that guy was legit, I will have to find another way.

Best way would be that you buy the Progskeet yourself and jailbreak your PS3 with it. I also had the idea to do sth. like that but like Insight said the guy will 100% keep the Backup and could see your console ID.

Does Progskeet require soldering? I've never soldered before and intend on avoiding
cracking open my PS3 and melting things together as such.

Sorry, I don't have any experiences with Progskeet. I only have a E3 Flasher and it is easier as f*ck. I would recomment if you want a jailbreak that you sell your FAT and search for another PS3 with a NOR chip.
