as far as "protection" there are so many different things to do. and not all of them are guarenteed to work. You can use proxy servers for some games, alter your MAC address, use a spoofer, hotswap CID's, loads of stuff. Search the forum a bit before making a post like this.

If you are THAT scared of getting a little ban, play offline. Otherwise use ccapi to spoof the cid and use the anti-ban eboots and other files that people make. Modding isn't always a 100% no ban. Even with ALL safety measures on a game you can still get banned from being reported. Don't mod like an idiot (to much to b reported) and you should be fine. Or as I first suggested, PLAAY OFFLINE>
