(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a old phat ps3 I haven't used in a long time because the heatsink broke causing overheating but now I put the heatsink from a slim ps3 onto the phat ps3 motherboard. Everything was working well, bo2 zombies, gta v online, but I converted to dex and now the CPU gets hot very fast. In rebug toolbox you can see it jump up 3 or 4 degrees before it changes to the rsx temp... Max rsx temp so far like 55c. At start up right into rebug toolbox CPU is already at around 74-77c. Is this ps3 just dead? Lol all I want to know so I don't waste anymore time with it..

Try Using Control Fan Utility To Change The Fan Speed It Really Helps.. Mine Jailbreak Is a Fat On DEX and It Usually Has Around The Same Temperature As Yours. With The Fan Utility going My RSX is in the 40's and and my CPU is in the 50's .. Hope This Helped!
