(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, before I start, I'm not a person who likes to play pirated games.

But recently, both my Black Ops II and GTA V (Unable to Install), so yesterday, I finished downloading GTA V and BO2, I placed them in a folder called GAMES in the root of my External Harddrive (I'm Using a Seagate External Harddrive 1TB),
I plugged it on the left+right of my PS3, both did not work. I went on FAT32, didn't work, went back to NTFS, didn't work. Updated Multiman, Didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated. Happy

Thanks,

Haxel.

Well, that's what I was told to get it fully working and it worked out just fine for me. Sometimes when you re-format to FAT32 it leaves parts of the original format being, making it 'allocated space' ensures the drive is completely empty.

Alright thanks for your help, I'll try it now. Smile Will edit it to let you know if it works or not.

Fat32 has a maximum size limited of 32GB if you use regular windows tools to format it. I had the same problem, my ps3 wouldnt recognize my hdd (1tb seagate) when I tried playing movies off it through showtime.

This is how I fixed it:
Go to disk management. You can find this by right clicking my computer on clicking manage.
Find you drive. Right click it, and click, delete volume.
Then make a new parttion. Make the whole 1TB.
Choose a drive letter. Make it F.
ENSURE to select. DO NOT format this partition.
Finish.

Now, download this You must login or register to view this content.

Place it in the root of you C: drive. (dont worry its not a virus)

open a cmd window.

Type:

CD /D C:\

Then:
fat32format f:
** NOTE f: can be changed with what ever letter you named your drive.

this should then pop up:
Warning ALL data on drive 'f' will be lost irretrievably, are you sure (y/n)

Type:
Y

Itll take a few seconds, whipe your hdd, BUT your done, and it should work.

Tried all of that, none of them work. :( Basically, my PS3 would not detect my Harddrive. I'm using a Seagate 1TB.
