I will tell you now that if the ps3 has been updated to 4.60OFW, and previously the ps3 was on CFW, then you my friend have lost the jailbreak.
Only thing you can do is buy a flasher and do the downgrade to jailbreak it again

Stop lying, you can not open homebrew apps on a OFW ps3. You have lost the jailbreak. Either sell that ps3 to buy another one or buy an E3 Flasher to downgrade it. Case closed.
