(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys/girls i have a ps3 i have successfully downgraded previous but i bricked on the dex to cex conversion i don't have a valid dump but i do have my cex flash dump that i dumped through rebug toolbox at the moment my ps3 turns on dosen't turn off unless i hold down the power button there is no video/audio no usb activity the hard dose power up but the little led dosen't if any one could help would really appreciate it thanks

Does the PS3 not make 5 beeps then turn off because that would probably be a DEX - CEX Semi Brick.

This I have never come across in all honesty. I am unsure if you can use a rebug toolbox dump with a flasher just because I have never tried it I always keep a backup of the dumps stored somewhere safe.

Can you not get into factory service mode?

If you can then try and install a CFW that way or even 3.55

Not really any more information I can give as I have never come across it so I think someone who may have had a similar experience may be able to help more than I can.

it did the 5 beep startup then shut down but now its doing what i wrote in the statement i tryed fsm with e3 card reader no luck because there is no usb activity i hope there is a way to use rebug flash

You Cant doing anything if you dont have backed up dump . because you need to solder a wire to un brick & reflash

i have soldered tristate already the ps3 now boots after i byte reversed my dump from rebug toolbox im just installing fw now

Sorry I didn't respond earlier glad it is installing FW now and that it is back up and running hopefully.

My iPhone never gave me any notifications when you responded I think I may have disabled NGU app from sending me them. DAMN!

Anywho if it is back up and running make sure to drop to 3.55 and grab a proper dump from you E3 just incase now you can see why it is critical to always keep a backup and maybe even a backup of a backup lol.
