Because there is no jailbreak for anything above 3.55 (3.56 with a flasher)

So you would need a flasher and downgrade your PS3 to 3.55 then install a CFW then update to a newer CFW.

There is nothing you can do to jailbreak your PS3 at it's current state.

You would also need to check your PS3 SKU model to make sure it can be downgraded.

Any 3k or 4k Ps3 models cannot be downgraded and cannot be jailbroken you would need to look at a ODE but again you would need to do some research and decide.

Depending on your console you have a choice between 3.
