I wanted to play some of my old ps2 games on my ps3 again. The model is CECHC04, so it is possible to do so.
I've already tried a few methods to do that, including the direct XMB-Method and the MultiMAN/Placeholder method, but nothing worked (infinite Blackscreen after starting a game. But I notices, that the PS3 is kinda rebooting, since the blue disc-led is turning off and on again). So I searched abit for the problem and found some people saying its not possible to run ps2 games with ps2classics on a DEX. But after searching a while, I've also found others who say its possible, and others who say its not possible on 4.46. So I am abit confused now.

BTW: Im was running CCAPI in the Background, so I already tried it with uninstalling it. But it still wasnt working.
So, can you tell me IF its even working on my PS3 (CECHC04, REBUG 4.46 D-REX), and if yes, what i have to do to make it work?

best way play classics is cobra so use cobra 4.53.1 drex and enjoy

Yeah, I also found that out.. But I'm modding alot with CCAPI, which isnt working on Cobra-Firmwares, so thats not really an option for me.
But since its the "best" way, isnt there another way to play ps2 games on DEX?
