i'd suggest PS3ITA for firmware
and multiman, ps3ita manager and psninja for apps

If you are buying look for one *ROGERO 4.55 (4.60 Spoof) CEX*

If you get one on 3.55 OFW you need to install ROGERO 4.55 using *SYSTERM UPDATE* Via STORAGE MEDIA. (use USB)
...NEVER UPDATE VIA INTERNET!!... You will lose you Jailbreak (Custom Firmware) CFW

all PS3 updates need to be from USB. Create a folder on you USB-----

.First folder
(PS3)

.Second folder inside USB*
(UPDATE)

Then you place your update inside there. The update needs to be named *PSUPDAT.PUP* not PSUPDATE.PUP ^no E

When new PS3 update is released you need to wait for new CFW firmware or new SPOOF for that update before you can go online again.
Could take a while..
