Not happening. .pkg access is only for systems that allow the install of it. If you don't see an install option, there is no way to do it.

No, You cannot install Pkg files on a OFW ps3, The Proxy server method is patched for above 4.40 OFW, If you mean installing games for free just like having a CFW, Then that's another thing, Its called a ODE, Its kind of a special custom firmware type that allows you to boot games from the hard drive, Here's a tutorial for it you can even do it on your super slim!
