Hi guys. So as you can tell by the picture above, I have this problem with my JB Ps3. Every time I turn it on, either this comes up, or black screen of death.
This first happened when I was on 4.55 Dex and I connected my ps3 to target manager. Then my ps3 froze and when I turned it back on. It would either show this or the black screen of death. I tried doing that thing where you hold the power button down and those 6 options come up. And I tried like. Number 2, 3, 4 and I think 5. Not 100% sure. But I tried everything. I restored my ps3. And it worked, it came on okay. But then I turned my ps3 off then back on. And I was back to square one.... So I thought the firmware might be corrupted or something. So I done the whole restoring procedure again which lets me on the ps3 for one time like I explained above, and I downgraded to 3.55. And still.... I would get this stupid error, or the black screen again! I have looked all over the Web and can't find a solution for a permanent fix! Can someone please help me with this!!
It is literally driving me crazy because I'm that frustrated at it.

Turn off your ps3. press and hold power botton till it beeps once then let go, as if you were changing ps3 from HDMI to the AV cables. that should be your problem solved.

Alternative option is - When the PS3 is in standby (red led), hold down the power button for 5 seconds. This will reset the boot parameters and you will boot back to the XMB. However, the video/audio settings will be reset as well.

It's in Debugger Mode. Just connect to Target Manager and select Boot System Software Mode. The PS3 will reboot and once it reboot scroll to Debug Settings and Change the Boot Mode to System Software.
