My Fan Starts Working When My PS3 Temperature Reaches In 80's, The fan starts producing a sound (because it runs at a high speed). However I don't mind with that but is it safe or I should Enable Auto Dynamic Control Fan (webman).

All comments are appreciated,
Thanks ^_^

80 is quite hot. I would take it apart, clean it out & replace the thermal compound with some high quality stuff... the stuff sony use is crap.

Also if its a phat ps3 have it in the upright position so any heat can rise up out the side vent.

Thanks for replying, yea i have a phat ps3 but i can't place it upright because there is no space, however I can buy an external fan but I don't know where to place it is, it at the bottom or from the place of the power chord?. I really don't want to open the ps3 because I am not into that stuff

right just literally take of the top lid of the ps3, if you have never done this you will see shit loads of dust just blow it out and put the lid back on, other than that yeah just put like a little fan at the back or open a window Smile hope this helped a little bit
