Btw to install this new hdd into my ps3 I just need to put the UPDAT.PUP file into the ps3 or do I need to create folders and put the ofw inside them?
I'm also jailbreaking it , I'm on the step to install the 999 downgrader so I'll put the working hdd with the 4.60 ofw , then I use the 999 downgrader to be on 3.55 I think and then I install the CFW Am I right?

the ps3 keep not recognizing the hdd .-. , i've changed it to exFAT , can exFAT be readable by a ps3?

For 4.60/4.65 go to Playstation.com to download the update

I'm having troubles cuz I have a hdd 200gb 5400rpm sata and the ps3 do not read any disk dont even the old and the new
I've already installed the patched bios , now I'm on the step of installing a 999 downgrader to get to 3.55 and then I can install any cfw I want :/ .
I can't do that cuz the ps3 do not read the hdd it gives me a message saying "plug a storage device with the 4.60 or higher firmware" but I have the hdd with the 4.65 in it
I've already tried to install the 999 downgrader via recovery but it gives me the same message :/

I've seen a beast tutorial that gives a tool that can be only used 1 time but I dont know where is it anymore
