It should work if you check external on the game settings? What does it do when you try to play a game? Does it send you back to XMB?

Load multiman then go to the game you would like to load (I use BD MIRROR & EXTERNAL game options when Direct Booting from XMB) and load it. once multiman redirects you to your XMB go to where "/app_home/PS3_GAME/" was and it should now say "Playstation®3" and hit X to load your game.
Some newer games are not compatible with this booting method, check your games compatibility here in the "direct boot" column :

yes its just sending me back to xmb. iv got it set to BD mirror and external. On my old ps3 it worked a treat and would load a game as playstation3 like you say. But on this slim its just not loading iv tried alot of games aswell with no joy still. The main game i want load is advanced warfare.

Advanced Warfare worked for me when direct booting it, it might be your firmware???
I'm running Rogero 4.55 v1.00 & Habib 4.65 CEX and AW started Smoothly from Playstation®3 on both.
What firmware are you running ?

At the minute its on rogero 4.55 v1.00 cex. i have tried rebug aswell. will habib be better to try do you think?.

is your habib v1.01 or cobra v1.02?

update your software to habib 4.65 cobra edition 1.02, and you will be able to play discless, the same thing im doing at the moment works a treat.

whats best way get to habib. is there a 3.55 version or can i put habib 4.65 over rogero

Download and install rogero downgrader, then download and Install rogero 3.55 cfw. After that you can install any CFW over the Rogero 3.55 CFW.
