as it is a very open operating system Happy I know it might sound stupid but everyone has their phones for
at least 80% in their pocket or just next to them while gaming/modding. I think it would be awesome

GREAT question.

As far as my knowledge goes, it is certainly possible. I'm not too sure about the CCAPI part, but as for Android being compatible, it could definitely be a possibility.
I'll actually look into this. Seems interesting.

If you find something Hmu plz Happy also In my opinion if it is possible it will be great also nobody will be able to steal the source as it won't be able to be decrypted so no more leeching Happy And if they want to sell it they can set it up in-app purchase etc etc :p

Well it is definitely possible to connect the phone to the PS3. I'm just not sure if it will be able to work with CCAPI.

If anything, I would charge something like $0.99 for the app to connect, then have the others sell the menus on their own accord, if they want to.

Pretty sure an iPhone can connect to the PS3 too. You just need a tweak from Cydia.

You are correct, but making a menu through an app would be more difficult on iOS. Plus you would DEFINITELY have to be jailbroken in order for it to work. Getting the app verified on the Google App Store would be easier.

The following user thanked Zack. for this useful post:
