(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys..I have a ps3 80 gb CECHL04 Nor,I would increase hard disk,But I was born a doubt if I change my hard disk,lose cfw?I have rebug 4.46 dex..

I have to downgrade?or do I safely change hard disk?

First i would get the ps3 on cex to be on the safety side, then change the HDD and then reinstall the cfw Enzo

CFW isn't stored in the hdd. You can upgrade it anytime and it will not effect anything only the amount of free space your system has.

Nope, it shouldn't ask you to install it. It will just boot up like normal once you put in a already formatted FAT32 hdd into it.

No it will not take cfw away all you do is switch hard drive and install you 3.55 ofw on that hard drive then your choice of cfwSmile

When you install a new drive it *will* ask you to reinstall the firmware. It's part of Sony's security, so you can't swap the drive with other people's accounts & game data on. All you'll have to do is reinstall the exact same CFW you had before the drive swap & you'll be back on your CFW. Smile
