That's not bricked just unplug and replug, it has happened to me

If you used the search tool under ps3 you may have found it, here's a link to how I fixed it, first try resetting the video settings by turning the ps3 on n holding down the power button till it beeps a second time, if that don't work try turning it on then holding the power button till it turns off, if that don't work, try reinstalling the firmware thru safe mode, if that don't work the look here

Ok I have two questions so I hope they can be answered.
1. On the rebug toolbox what does target type mean I have dex
2. Every time I put my LV2 kernel to dex and exit the toolbox my ps3 shuts off but when I am on cex it doesn't why is that? Is their a way to fix that

And I am on 4.46 dex so can anybody help me I would greatly appreciate it.
Also when my ps3 turns off it makes this clicking noise before it turns off but that's when I am on the dex kernel

Try putting the mode in rebug. After it restarts change the lvl2 kernel to dex see if that works, n I'm not sure the target type, not at home to take a look atm

By any chance did you manage to start it up and then it would just freeze?

yeah freeze in a static screen
