BUT, i have a question and need help. I cannot play anything on my jailbroken ps3, and im trying to remove the jailbreak.. is there any way to do this? Ive tried multiple ways and done everything in my power. PLEASE somebody help me?

if you wanna remove the jailbreak just update with normal ps3 firmware

ive tried paul, wont let me do it through the internet, and i have the ofw for ps3 on my flashdrive and it wont let me do it. saying data corrupted.

What firmware is it on? What do you mean by you can't play anything on it? What firmware are you trying to install and where did you download it from?

its on 4.46 dex rebug at the moment, havent played anything in forever, and it wont let me sign into psn at all. and i got the ofw 4.65 on the playstation website. i cannot do anything i just want to put my ps3 back to normal and stop modding and just play.

lol there u go..thats the reason..u need to convert ur ps3 back to cex boy then u can update via normal ofw !

ill try it qamartheone, but i did a restore and deleted every package off of my ps3 already..

Dex isn't hdd based, so restoring it won't do anything. But yes, once you switch back to cex and try to update everything should be fine.

only issue is, i truthfully dont know how to get back to cex... i havent touched this ps3 in like 7 months, and i dont have my cex files anymore. :\ any way you guys could help me convert it to cex?

caution with back to cex anyway may bricked the ps3 forever
