Really up to you, both ways would work. But ifyour looking to RTM I wouldn't buy one off eBay because lists of them are banned or the console Ids have been stolen an sold. So trust your console and get it downgraded

I would recommend on buying a new console. This is only because i know that whenever i want to play legit with no risk of ban i can just go back to my normal console. On the other hand, if you only have one console you will always be risking it.
