I installed my e3 flasher correctly( I hope ) .. but when I turn my ps3 on, the 2nd light (OFW/CFW) doesn't light green. All the others work with no problem. Updating the flasher also doesn't work.

If I have to push the clip back in, is there a way to not always open/close the ps3 again? It's a lot of work

If a LED doesn't light up it is because:

1) CLIP is not making good contact with the NOR chip. I normally have my ps3 opened up so I can have access to the NOR chip. This is a good method because it gives you the opportunity to access the CLIP. So, at this point I would press down on the clip to see if the light actually lights/turns up

2) the actual led is not working

If the update is not going through it is because

1) you might not have the correct settings on the TF coverboard SWITCHES 1&2down the rest are up

2) you might not have the correct file name in the microSD card: update.bin

3) you might not have the microSD card formatted to FAT32

4) you might have a faulty microSD and should try another one

Thanks a lot. I just tried again and saw that if I put the lever up the light works...

Bump. I've replaced ghe clip so many times it doesntbudge there are coins ontop of it but still the 2nd light doesnt turn on when the lever is pulled down. But when i put the switch up the light turns on
