(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi Guys, So I didn't look at the NOR chip before starting out

My left side of the chip pins is down and the right side is up like in the pic, but the e3 flasher still works when I clip it onto the nor chip,

please tell me if I should carry on or not?!

thanks!

Showing someones motherboard is not going to help when you want to downgrade your own motherboard. Each motherboard is most likely to have its own problems especially when your talking about the nor pins.
If your E3 flasher still works on it try and get multiple valid dumps. Do not just get 1 try get about 6 identical valid dumps before you process further.

DO NOT RUSH AND BRICK YOUR CONSOLE FOR GOOD!

Yes continue mate, but make sure to get 6 valid identical dumps, then patch it with the firmware version you want to install and boom finished.

MAKE SURE YOUR DUMPS ARE VALID BY TESTING IT IN MULTIPLE NOR DUMP CHECKERS AND HXD. ONCE THERE ALL IDENTICAL PICK THE LAST DUMP YOU MADE AND PATCH IT THEN TEST IT AGAIN IN A NOR DUMP CHECKER TO MAKE SURE ITS 100% VALID THEN FLASH OVER TO YOUR CONSOLE.

Sweet man thank you Smile

I used a clamp, I don't see any other way of getting my ps3 to read the dump as the e3 flasher keeps on giving the three flashing lights, I tried foam method, and even coin methods, what other methods do you suggest? I've tried it so many times no luck, could it be the cable?
