Most likely arent connected to your pc to use the tool, or the drex is fucking you up.

To use tmapi also know as dex you will need a debug eboot in the games directory to be able to connect with tmapi.

Make Sure your connect via Target Manager And you have a Debug Eboot on the game you wanna mod

do i need a ethernet connected? last time i used DEX tools was last year so i cant remember? i thought i can do it with no Ethernet

Lol its not like ccapi bud, the reason why the rtming is better is cuz the connection is better ethernet is causing that, yes you have to use either one or two...

so if i connect an eithernet i can use DEX tools?

Go to your router setup
in portforward server add your Playstation IP.
Service name Device name: PS3
In starting port and ending port enter the ports specific to the game. Search those at port forward dot com
What that will do is give you more chances to become host also will strengthen your connection to ps3 and Modding will be flawless.

Make sure your PS3 is connected either to router or to your computer.
Make sure Release Check Mode is on Development Mode.
Make sure Boot Mode is on System Software Mode.
Make sure Network Settings for Debug is on Single Settings.
Make sure you're using a debug eboot.
